"If we remain captive to illusions, our own country will become a thing of longing"
Abstract
The August armed confrontation between Russia and Georgia has put the country before a new reality. Whether this was a deliberate provocation or the result of the government's ill-considered policy, time will tell. Today, the fact is one - Georgia has actually lost its territories and there is no way out of the current situation yet. How did all this affect the country's economy, what lessons did we learn from the war, and how should the post-war rehabilitation of the Georgian economy take place? Economic expert Mr. Demur Giorkhelidze talks to us about these and other issues.
