The ISO 9000 series of standards and small businesses
Abstract
For Georgia, the ISO 9000 series of international quality standards is a relatively new product. This series was first published in 1987 and describes the structure of a quality management system. The implementation of this structure allows for improving the quality of manufactured products and services and reducing losses. Our magazine published several articles about the ISO 9000 series of standards (April 2008; July-August). However, in the publication below, these issues are discussed from a general perspective and we think they will be of interest to the reader.
