Income distribution inequality in Georgia

Abstract

From a historical perspective, the problem of unequal distribution of income has existed in previous centuries, still exists today, and it seems likely will continue to exist in the future. In the 20th century, many measures were taken in Europe and the United States to establish income equality between the layers of the population, but even today, in the United States, 0.05% of American families own 35% of the total personal wealth in the country, while the wealth of the 90% of families “below” them amounts to only 30%.
