Abstract

The main purpose of this work was to determine the relationship between organizational culture, group micro-climate and employee motivation (internal motivation, external positive motivation, external negative motivation) in construction organizations.

The study was conducted in Tbilisi in construction organizations. A total of 122 employees were interviewed. The research method used organizational culture diagnostic questionnaire, professional motivation study methodology, and group micro-climate assessment scale. The sample was randomly selected, ranging in age from 18 to 65 years.

On the basis of the obtained data, an empirical analysis of the research was carried out to determine the forms of dominant organizational culture in Georgian construction organizations based on reality and desirability.The main psychological characteristics of the psychological microclimate in the group were identified. The characteristics of internal motivation, external positive motivation and external negative motivation were also revealed. On the basis of correlational analysis, statistical relationships between these variables were determined.
